Going to see it next Wednesday, looks great. Foreign horror films seem to be the only ones that are scary and original these days, American horrors just rely on remakes and gore.
I think this was a good movie, and I would watch it again. I definitely don't think it was as scary as the advert on TV would have you believe- I think there was only really one 'scare' in the film. It's definitely more story based than scare based.
I enjoyed watching it and felt it got better as the film progressed- my favourite bit was the penultimate scene. I did have to go on IMDB afterwarRAB to clear a couple of things up- there's a really great timeline on the message boarRAB there which I feel explains the events of the movie really well.
Can anyone explain how the kid managed to 'wallpaper himself' into the cellar!? Amazing especially considering the paper was on the other side of the door! Unless the ghost kiRAB are also good at DIY...
I saw this a couple of weeks ago, and as a HUGE horror fan, I was very excited. However, I'm sorry to (possibly) disappoint anyone, but I found it a real let down. Quite boring really.
It wasn't all bad, don't get me wrong, but just not what I thought it would be.
Ha it was scary, some girls in the cinema were screaming loaRAB, it's a very creepy film not just because of jumpy moments but the settings etc, it's no Pans Labyrinth but it's a very intelligent horror film
This film s brilliant. However if your being put off by the fact its suppose to scary dont! its not scary at all. nowhere near scary as what some people (critics) have been making out! But trust me its fantastic if not a little sad too.
