The Official Brew Immunity Thread

List here if you know which of Verizon's LG hanRABets are immune to the Brew settings being changed.....

*MOD EDIT: I've taken the liberty of revising this thread to make the topic more generic. Apparently, there are some Samsung phones that lose their Brew apps as well, such as the u740 Alias, while other, like the u470 Juke do not.

This is in lieu of starting an entirely new thread.

Do you mean as far as the MP3 player goes or Verizon apps in general? Because the Chocolate and Chocolate 2 and Venus won't lose the MP3 player because it's built into the phone software so it can play music in the background. But I think you already knew that.
 
Ooops! :erabaresse I should have been more specific!: I meant the zapping of Verizon V Cast apps such as the My Music player, Instant Messenger, and so on. So YES, things like MP3 player functionality. Thanks for pointing this out! :2thurabs:

Ok I Didn't Change The Brew But I Know That I'm Having Camera Issue As Far As Taking Pic I'm Tryin' To Find A Solution For That Now Its Weird Because I Only Did Wap And Mms Which Work With Out Flaw But I Can't Take Pic Has Anyone Else Run In To This Issue I'm Useing The Vx8500 Chocolate 1 Thanks To Berry For The Great Lg Write-up
 
It may be the same as the vx9900 camera issue: Search that thread for "camera".

lol been wondering the same thing did an other seach with the Terms LG Voyager and i have not found what im looking for, last thing i need is to Edit it and find out that i killed everything on the phone.
 
ok, cause i want to see if i can get it to like download the MyCricketBackup Thing or w/e its called MyBackUp i think it is, it be nice tho if somehow there was like a public Brew Shop or something where no matter what phone you had or company you could get on and download for free or buy now that would be killer
 
has anyone confirmed if the dare vx9700 loses mp3 player AND im?

i see above that they say no, but then they say the voyager no, and its a yes haha.
 
As long as the phone supports Brew it should work. The generic Brew shop is in the service programming menu on most LG phones.
 
Are you sure? I know I lost the mp3 on a Voyager, and haven't bothered trying on the EnV2. The only Dare I got a hold of I killed trying to get wap going.
