I got stopped for a red light ticket. When I stopped I let my dog out of my car. The cop didn't like that so, he told me to stand by the car and called another officer for backup while he wrote me up. That is fine. But at the trial he testified that he had me in handcuffs, when that didn't happen. He was reading from his notes. I would like to get the other officer to write an affidavit stating that I was not in handcuffs for the trial de novo in circuit to impeach his credibility. How can I do that? Will the other officer write something for me?
The officer lied while testifying in traffic ticket. How do I get corroboration?
