I am an iphone user from the get go. I am anticipating the new iphone which should have some serious upgrades to be announced on June 7th. Some things that are lacking on the iphone currently are the speaker volume, quality, vibration intensity (its very weak), speed (3GS is decent but not great) and much customization, however, jailbreak can add TONS to your phone. I wouldn't suggest the Nexus one at all unless you want TMOBILE.
Verizon's version of the nexus one is called the Droid Incredble by HTC. This is truely an amazing phone. A coulple of my friends have it and i realllllly like it. If the phone 4g (HD, 4th GEN whatever) doesn't deliver substantial upgrades i am finally going to the droid incredible.
My advice is to wait until the end of june to decide.
