The New Verizon Blackberry Icons on Home screen?

Ok, so i just upgraded to the new blackberry in like Jan. Just today for the first time some weird new icon popped up for me to update software so I did. It just happened that the temporary icon replaced my screen lock icon cause it happened to be the first. And now, it disappeared! I restored defaults on everything, still gone. Help?!!?!?!??
