The new boost mobile plan...Whats the real deal?

I wanted to get the new Boost Mobile plan for 50 bucks a month but it seems to good to be true. Anyone who has this, can you explain more? I heard that the texts are really slow! Whats the pros and cons???
 
Boost Mobile does have that plan, and its no joke! It really is unlimited, but Boost runs on Sprint's limping iDEN network. The network coverage is spotty and fairly unreliable in many non-metro markets.

Pros: It's only $50 a month for unlimited

Cons: Boost Mobile runs exlusively off of Sprint's iDEN network, which is what the Sprint brand Nextel operates on. Historically that network has been outperformed by the other carriers' networks (CDMA from Verizon and Sprint proper, and GSM from AT&T, T-Mobile)


As a side note:
What you might want to look into is AT&T's Unlimited Talk and Text prepaid plan. it is $60 a month and gets you unlimited voice and text usage nationwide. $19.99 more gets you unlimited internet. Also T-Mobile has a $79.99 unlimited everything plan, but a shoddier network than AT&T.
