Should be interesting- and with Chris Nolan directing it could be a corker. By the way try finding the 9 minute Batman short currently on line called Batman: Dead End. You will not regret it as it's the Batman movie every Bat fan has wanted in years.

Why does it have to be a flop??? the reason the last 2 werent that wonderful was that they got really big names in but got rid of the best thing Tim Burton!!!!! Joel Schumacher i think was tryingf to go for the feel of hte old TV series which was a very bad idea as the series was funny but not an ideal for todays times :p
Hopefully this nerw director will try hard to do a damn fine job and with Christian Bale as batman hopefully he will be as good as always as we already know he can kick ass :p
 
Christopher Nolan's pedigree is impeccable. Insomnia and Memento; so we know he can film driven, obsessive, borderline sociopaths.

The proposed bad guy is Ra Al Ghul who's daughter has an on/off romantic dalliance with the dark knight and who sees The Batman as his natural heir should he fail to achieve his ultimate goal of imortality. My guess would be a shades of grey thriller where we get to see just how much Batman will sacrifice for his vision of justice.

Could be a corker.
 
I'd be surprised to see Ra's Al Ghul as the main villain although I've heard rumours he's going to be in it too. I liked him in the comics but he's not exactly the kind of bad guy the mainstream audience will expect from a Batman movie. He doesn't really dress for it the way the Scarecrow does. Plus they could really go to town on the Scarecrow's fear gas hallucinations. ...Anyone heard any rumours about who might play him? Who would you choose?

They already wasted Bane. He had so much potential and Schumacher squandered him in that last pile of steaming turd.

Christopher Nolan could even surpass Tim Burton if he has the balls to do it. I'd like to see him make something darker like 'The Killing Joke', get rid of Robin and bloody Batgirl and stop killing the villains off!

Last thing i heard about the scarecrow was it could possibly be Christopher Lloyd!! who can surprising be very scary!!!
I also think that the scarecrows halucinagenic gas could be a good thing, i really do hope Nolan can do better for Batman than Schumacher did he just ruind it and as said before he wasted a huge character like Baine!! there was so much that could have been done with him but no he had to be used as a bit character.
I must say even with George Clooney in the last film it had to be the worst of them all!!! Poison Ivy was just constantly annoying the whole way thorugh and i jsut really wanted her to be done in early but alas she wasnt!! and really for god sake why did Schumacher have to change whos who??!! guessing he had Bobs permission to change Barbara Gordon to Barbera Pennyworth!! how shite was that!! everyone knows Barbera Gordon and that she was Batgilr right under her daRAB nose!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Nolan do a bloody good job please!!!
 
The villain is Ra's Al Ghul... Not the scarecrow... a character who believes he has the key to immortal life, whose daughter has had a fling with Bruce Wayne before now... and who believes Batman is his true heir....
