...When you say Alex and Bonnie? most people instantly know what you're talking about, the latest storm systems in the Gulf. Thoughts on storm celebritydom?
 
The storms are named from a list of names that the NOAA has-- if a certain storm reaches a certain strength, then they take his/her name off the list. For example, after Hurricane Katrina, Katrina was taken off the list and replaced with another girl's name that starts with a "K". The fact that celebrity names have been the latest storm names are purely coincidental:) Here is a list of NOAA storm names for the next five years:)
