intrested to know what strange films pple have seen.
Mine are:
Kitchen stories- a strange norwegian/swedish film where a man is paid to observe the kitchen habbits of single men.

Knit your own karma- a short film very much in the style of 1984 where a man in the future has a dull life working on a treadmill untill a package lanRAB on his doorstep. The film has no dialogue and only one character.

probably that spanish thing from the early 70s about a guy who gets trapped in a phone box and taken away. forget what its called tho'.

Alex Cox's 'Straight to Hell'. A mock western starring, among others Joe Strummer, The Pogues, Courtney Love and Dennis Hopper. About a load of bandits who runa coffee racket. Good film, although i've never really worked out what's going on. Maybe I need to drink more before watching!

*mulholland drive* is a fantastic film - all a bit confusing when it goes a bit wierd towarRAB the end, but when you get whats been going on, its absolute jaw dropping genius.

Strange (different/unique direction or story) and Bizarre (illogical mind bending) tend to lead to different films, both have examples of genius, both have examples of also rans

GENIUS
Head - Monkees
Donnie Darko
Easerhead (though it just makes it into the category)
Doctor Strangelove
The Horn - erotic Scandinavian film
2001

ALSO RANS
Irreversible
Mulholand Drive
Tetsuo

One short animated movie called.... "Rejected"... I think.... Comprised of the pieces created by some fictional animator which were rejected, and how they become increasingly wierdy and disturbing as each piece is rejected. Interesting, funny, and a bit sick.

Another interesting and strange short movie was .... I can't remember what it was called, but I think it was created by Chris Morris... about a man who is a bit mad, and has a dog that talks to him and acts as his lawyer and goes round doing stuff that the dog tells him to...

That'd be 'My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117' unless I'm much mistaken.

Can't honestly remember the weirdest/strangest film I've ever seen. I think that 'Society' is fairly f"*%^
