The lock on the passenger door of my car is broken. Is there any way to fix it?

The car is a 95 Buick LeSabre. The lock can be unlocked manually from the inside, but won't unlock with the remote and won't respond to the automatic locks at all. This started hapening after a really warm day in January. Also, the car was hit in an accident on that side, and sadly enough the door is now mostly comprised of Bondo, which seems to be losing its shape slightly. The connection for the automatic window in that door is sometimes touchy and won't work, but this lock thing is a (very annoying) first. Any ideas?
