What did you think of it? I though it was quite good, if a little creepy. Truly the mother-in-law from hell. What did you think of the ending? I though it was a bit disappointing but I thought that in the last scene with Ruth and Patrick with little Thomas lying between them (which was almost identical to the one earlier with the baby lying with Elizabeth and the father-in-law (I can't remember his name)) it shows that Ruth has almost turned into Elizabeth. She seemed pretty controlling and it just made me think that she was mad all along.
Also, can anyone explain to me about Elizabeth's death? Why did Ruth put the picture of Elizabeth and the dog next to her body? I didn't really get that bit at all. Also, was Elizabeth trying to poison Ruth with that mousse? And what was with the book? Those were the bits that confused me the most.
