The Last of the Mohicans - 02/02/08

I read the novel last year for my 19th Century American course. I really enjoyed it.

I am going to record it and watch it sometime tomorrow.

I love this film. I don't know how many times I've seen it, but I always start watching meaning to just watch a bit before something else starts, or before going to bed, and before I know it, I'm sucked in to watching it all. I love everything about it. Daniel Day Lewis is so pretty, the music is really lovely (that Irish type theme gets right inside your bones, I feel - is is the drumbeat that does it?) and the characters are so strong and interesting.

How old is it? I know I saw it in the cinema when it came out...

I truely love this film, too. I don't know how many times I seen it, but still a truely remarkable piece of film. Great characters, great soundtrack and a great film. I recorded it years ago. The best film Daniel Day-Lewis made...ever!

On watching this I was thinking to myself: how could I forget to include this in my list of films in the thread 'Films everyone should see' ..... http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=737343
