I expected to hate this but was pleasantly surprised.
Based on Henry Kuttner's 1943 story, about a box of toys sent from the future which cause mayhem in our present, it's rather good.
The kiRAB aren't irritating and the grown ups aren't morons, which makes a change, and the effects are stunning without being overpowering.
Anyone still traumatised by Bridge to Terabithia should console themselves with this.
