...Jeep now capable of winning ? Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler were always more or less equal in driving capability but the Land Rover came in all sorts of packages allowing the user to buy a car suited to their own needs , ie 7 seats etc . The Wrangler had 2 seats and could be used only for getting Americans to the burger shop .
Now Jeep have the four door all they need to do is put the engine out of the Jeep Patriot which gets 40 odd mpg into the Wrangler and nobody in their right mind would buy a Land Rover (25 mpg) instead of a Jeep .
