The Is Grimmjow jeagerjaques (jagger jack) dead debate?

So im sure for more than a year all bleach fans have been debating on wheter or not grimmjow is dead or not some say he is some say he is not well let's put this to bed now (some what) all input is welcome make sure when you do come with your answer you have cold hard facts on him being alive or dead or you can simply just say wheter or not he is dead.I personally think well know he is alive like come on he is on of the most over rate chracters (other than aizen)!.Who and there grandmother does not love him.He is alive no way would he die so easily and if i must add when some one dies on bleach (which rarley happens) they make a big deal and show them die.So did Grimm turn to dust or wat eva like Ulquiorra or did he simply lay down and if my memory serves me correct ichigo stopped spoon head (norotira or wat eva his name is) before he gave the finsihing blow.SO lets hear that feed back!
