You watched the horizon begin to crisp and rust
through flashes of alleys lined amongst the trees.

Thanks guys! It's an English sonnet. I don't keep to the iambic pentameter that strictly, but in essence it's an English one.
 
Yeah it's there. Most are similar rhymes, because I don't really like full rhymes, but phonetically it works if you listen to the vowels. I much prefer subtle vowel rhymes than explicit full ones because I find it can sound too forced. It's ABAB, CDCD, EFEF, GG.
