I come here today to discuss the largest, and most ignored, segment of our population. You all know them, see them, hear them, yet continually they are ignored except as the brunt of your anger, jibes, or demands. They populate every facet of your lives, yet you view them as something less than human; something beneath your notice unless it somehow benefits yourselves.
They're all around you, even now. They wash your cars, they cook your food, they deliver your packages, they judge your cases, they flip you off when you cut them off on the freeway. They're your bosses, your coworkers, and your subordinates; yet you think of them not at all unless forced.
However, when you need something from one of them, you are all friendly and pleasant; like they're your best friend, but as soon as you have what you want they cease to exist.
Who is this oft-neglected portion of our world?
I'll let you in on the secret...
others.
Think of someone else today, for a change. Who knows? You might like it.
