I have no idea why this is going on. I get it up to 40 and it speeds up with my foot off the accelerator. Like I have cruise control, which I don't.
My RPM is 1500...and stays there...It's o.k. at 30 mph, but by 50 it has a mind of it's own. It's even hard to stop....What could be the problem? My engine light was off....But in the past few weeks...It did throw a code on more than one occasion. I have a tester, and fixed several tings...changing parts here and there. Is it common for a Chevy to throw so many codes? Never had a car do this before. It's always a different code. A lot of money has been out in to fix this truck....I don't own it, but planned to buy it after I fix it. But...not sure it's a good idea. Down the road it may be a major problem and expensive repair not worth fixing. This is a 1997 truck....123,000....Appreciate any input on this...Thank you.
