A lot of the answers I got were basically this from men and women:
Men: I'd rather have a short woman, something to hold and what not. Something I can protect.
Women: I like to feel protected, knowing I have a big strong man.
Here's what comes to my head when I read this. For the guys, he wants to feel like an empowered individual, and for girls, she doesn't want the responsibility of protecting herself.
Do we really need other people to make ourselves feel better? Personally, I don't want to be babied when I meet a guy. I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself, since I'm capable of learning self defense.
What are your thoughts? And what are your preferances?
