question is what DOESN'T irk them? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101015/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_israel_palestinians
Israel has decided to let its own people build homes in its own capital. What country DOESN'T do that? If it wasn't this, the Palestinians would find something else about which to complain and use as a reason they couldn't possibly be expected to engage in peace talks with Israel and actually engage in compromise.
avomatic: This should be interesting. How exactly is it ethnic cleansing to build a home?
The KILLER Anna: Nations choose their own capitals, and Israel claims Jerusalem as its indivisible and ancient capital. I don't particularly care where Sweden, Canada, et al wish it were.
gary: I reiterate: How exactly does it "choke" Arabs for Israel to allow its own people to build homes in its own capital?
scaerdrys: I always like to point out to such people that Israel not only halted settlement building in Gaza, but forcibly evicted settlers in 2005. How did THAT work out for them? How were they repaid for agreeing to barter land for peace? They gave up the land...did they get the peace? The people of Sderot can answer that question for us...when they're not having rockets lobbed at them from within Gaza.
