The Haunted World of El Superbeasto?

Has anyone heard about this movie? I was bored doing a look on future animated films and I came across this. It will be a full lengh adult animated comedy by rob zombie (oh, and it had Tom Kenny!) and by the website I think it's going to be traditionally animated! (he got some animators from disney too.) does anyone have any other information about this?

I'm really liking the cartoon style.. it reminds me of john k a little.

Zombie has been spreading himself really thin. Last year he was doing both the White Zombie box set and his new solo album, and according to IMDB filming for Halloween 2 is going to begin in about a week. I'm still not sure if this will ever see the light of day.
 
No. Apparently its been done since Christmas too. :(

Wikipedia says that El Superbeasto was all but done in October of last year and all Zombie had left to do was mix the sound. I'm guessing that even with all Rob's extra-curricular stuff that should be done by now and its just waiting on the studio to go through all their BS.

I did like Zombie's take on Halloween but I still feel he's better when working with his own material. I'm curious too see what Rob does with a comedy.
 
I think it's still being produced, but it's just on hold right now. There are a lot of Cartoon Network and Spumco people working on the movie, which is where the art comes from. Chris Reccardi (Ren and Stimpy, PPG, etc) did an interview a few months ago where he touched briefly on El Superbeasto. I'm pretty sure it's still being worked on, just don't look for it anytime soon.
