Unless you are in school and he's your teacher I would think that only you should know whether or not you need improvement on your thoughts. Don't play these silly games with him, Why do you put up with him being in control of you like this? He's not treating you like a girlfriend he's treating you like a student and I think that age of 30 you've already passed all of your classes. Good luck!
