I saw this movie tonight it was so amazing and I agree it did the Coast Guard justice. Both Kevin and Ashton did an amazing job, I loved it a lot more than I thought I would. Very happy with this movie
 
So who all saw it? I saw it this weekend and thought it was so good. I have a whole new respect for Coast Guards -- they really put their lives out on the line. Thought Ashton and Costner were awesome too.
 
I know -- isn't it great. They really put a lot of work into this film -- I love when Costner was talking about how he was a little scared when to the scenes in the ocean. Love hearing the behind scenes stuff...

I hear that the film is raising money for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans -- my friend said that the first 50,000 people to be Ashton's friend on myspace, a dollar will go towards HH. pretty cool. Definitely higher on my list now.
 
:lol: Not for the story, but for the title. Maybe it's because I'm older and hang with an older crowd... ;)

I mean - I don't mind the actors in the film, and if it gets good reviews from all of you I may eventually see it - but I don't want to think about that other, totally awful film! Hee!
 
shrrshrr, The Bodyguard? Gosh I have not heard about that movie in awhile -- LOL. I keep thinking of Top Gun which is one of my all time favorites so I am excited to see this is. Plus, i love ashton...
 
I am seeing this despite what so many are saying, just for my Ashton love! And, it looks pretty good. :D

Not sure I'll see it but I was amused when I first heard about it because I kept confusing the name with The Bodygaurd. They might have been more selective with the name... :look:
