I was expecting the same, but I wanted a chill movie to go see (not ready to stomach Jackass 2) and I was pleasantly suprised.....definatly getsa from me

It was good except for the fact that towards the end it just kept dragging on. I thought it was going to end 5 different times.

yeah, i had the same thought. Still, I was surprised about Ashton's performance...this will help his career I think, show he's not just a comedy actor. Doesn't hurt when you have Kevin Costner in the movie with you though.

The movie has the same exact plot and stock characters as some movie I saw a few years back about a hot shot fighter pilot.
