The books were great. Not sure if they have them all compiled together now--but when they were first released, they were like in mini books (like a series of 6 of them or something like that).

I remember reading the books and crying throughout so much of it. The books are better then the movie (as books normally are) but the movie was also really good.

Everyone who loved the movie should definitely try out the books.
 
I love Tom Hanks, and i finally just saw this movie, and i cried
