The Good, Bad and Ugly

The good: have my bikes, wife is expecting our 1st baby (boy by the way) I'm healthy, so the wife and baby.
The bad: in the middle of Afghanistan, (actually close to the border with pakistan to make matters worst)little shit heads trying to blow us up just about every day.
The ugly: not having the opportunity to ride at all (not even a bicycle) miss my family, the bikes and the good thing of life. Still have 10 months to go, bummer
 
I wish I was there with you too bro. Keep your head down. And I'll add to what Viper said. Concentrate on the bad too. You're family will be there when you get back. So focused on getting back alive and in one piece. Stay safe. Keep your head down. And THANK YOU for doing what you do.

stay up man, i just got back from there (2nd time). life back home is much more appreciated by me now after that experience. when you do get back, transition slowly.
