i have a girlfriend that i love more than the world she is called jenn. i have a best mate for god knows how long ago he is called james and another best mate from little school called kathy. we're all 18. me and kath were together when we were 15 this is ancient history now but i always thought james probably loved kathy and last week he finally admitted it to me (them two were just as close as me and him or me and her).
well i was hanging out with the 3 of them and a couple of others before a party last week. we were all getting pre-drunk. i have told jenny everything about them. (jenn told me this) kath was telling jenn, that although she was happy for her she wishes she found someone who loves her like i love jenn. so jenn said what about james he's nice. fast forward to 3 o'clock in the afternoon the next day and i'm leaving the party with jenny + a massive hangover - a bit of dignity. i walk past the sofa to see james and kath sleeping together.
that night me and james met for a pint. and i asked him what happend he said they had sex. i asked him if he was going to ask her out and he said no, because i was with her even though he's been madly in love with her for 12 years. that seems a bit f*cked to me because of "the golden rule" what about you?
