There's this totally adorable Bamm-Bamm shirt at the clearance section of hottopic.com, but there's still the shipping to Israel which makes it expensive so I can't buy it
But can you see Dino being part of a reliable appliance? It seems like they utilized natural traits of the animals to create the appliances. All Dino does is bark, get hyper, and fetch.
I preferred the classic Flintstones episodes. One of my favorite episodes was the birth of Pebbles. It was kind of similar to the birth of Little Ricky on I Love Lucy.
Awe man, classics.
I loved this show, still watch it on Boomerang in fact.
Barney was always my favorite, voice of reason this guy.
Some episodes were my favorite, such as the one where Barney went invisable. Or the one where Fred got Barney thinking he was a dogXD
Over all, I did enjoy most of the films.
I liked the spy one and the first live action one.
Ok, so why is this thread on the 2nd page? Come on... The Flinstones totally rock! I used to watch this cartoon all the time as a kid.
OMG! I used to do that too! Lunchtime would not be complete without the Flinstones.
One thing I always wondered about this show....how do they know the difference between a pet and an appliance? Dino(a dinosaur) is their family pooch but....they also have birds for scissors, a hog for a garbage disposal and an elephant for a shower/sprinkler. Seems to me like having a house pet is a bit redundant.
It was actually common back then to play out/advertise cigarette commercials. Some game shows back in the 50s were sponsored by cigarette/tobacco companies and gave prizes of money and cigarettes to the contestant. And guest stars were smoking!
Though one thing sticks out of my mind as bizzare: During one episode of I've Got a Secret, the host was actually feeding about two cigarettes to this one goat. :goof:
There's a second Flintstone commercial of the same cigarette brand if you want to look hard enough.
I was never hooked on Jetsons. My kids love them though - thanks to garage sales we have oodles of Jetson movies  I was a Flintstone kid...down to the vitamins
Wow, six year gap between the recent post and now. :goof: Can't get any scarier than that.
I remember the live version of the first movie, didn't watch the Vegas one. Completely forgot that Rick Moranis was in there. (Just watched Little Giants recently).
I really liked the movies. For some reason I was wary of the making it into a cartoon scenario. Especially after I heard that Rosie was going to be Betty, but I was pleasantly surprised by it.
But nothing compares to the syndicated cartoon . One of my kids' fave songs is the song that Anne Margrock sings "Ain't gonna be your fool no more". I d/led it for them and they absolutely it
