Ah one of the hardest debate topics for both sides. Creationist and Evolutionist. Well even though your view of birds falling into the water and becoming fish are simplistic and sound a little like you're trying to incite the hard core evolutionist into a fight. The fact is I believe in God and in Evolution. The Bible said that god made the Universe and Finally the Earth in Six days (and after all that hard work he took a rest on the seventh). Last I read the Bible it never said how long or short a day is for God. For us to think that God works on our timetable would be an ignorant thing to believe. Jesus said himself that no man on earth could ever come close to even comprehending and understanding who God is. The bible is the word of God written and re-written and translated and re-translated by man. God does not make mistakes...but man does. So try and remember that the Bible's scripture is meant to be interpreted by its reader.

So if God created the universe and man (which I believe) then why couldn't have God created dinosaurs and evolution. If you truly believe that God is all powerful and all knowing then don't try to think you can understand how he works. Because you will never know and no one on earth could.

As far as birds turning into fish...have you ever looked at the feet of a sea gull or a duck? They look like primitive fins to me. And take another look at penguins. A flightless bird that lays eggs and swims underwater like bird fly's in the air...God works in mysterious ways.

---Additional toward Micheal's Response: I never though I'd see the day where an Atheist is less open minded than someone religious. Please show me where in the Bible does it say that I can not believe in evolution and in God at the same time (this goes towards Christians and Atheists alike) I think you are missing my point. The Bible is interpreted by man, and therefor can be skewed to fit almost any agenda. I also mentioned that the bible is inherently inaccurate in its word to word form. Its the basic concepts of the Bible that hold true no matter how its words are arranged. If you want to look at the belief in God as a logical problem then here it is:

Atheist (Does not believe in God)--
Dies and No God exists: Congratulations you were right all the time and disappear into nothingness. [Negative Outcome]

Dies and God does exist: (God who gave you life and the universe) condemns you in some matter for being ungrateful...I mean come on you'd be mad too. [Negative Outcome]

Someone Who Believes In God:
Dies and no God exists: Ah you where wrong but oh well it doesn't really matter as you drift into nothingness. [Negative Outcome]

Dies and God does exist: Congratulations you where right! and your eternal soul or whatnot live on forever and such. [Positive Outcome]

Doing the Math:
Atheist: 2 Negative Outcomes.
Believer: 1 Negative and 1 Positive Outcome.

Synopsis: No matter what if your an atheist the outcome will be bad. If you believe in God you got a 50/50 chance.

teaches.? evolution teaches many false things. When animals change the are still what they were before. You don't ever see a bird evolve into a fish because it falls into the water. Things are what they are
