When you get pulled over (with absolutely NO probable cause) and if you do not prove insurance to the BMV, they yank your license, 90 days. 2nd offense is a year or more. Third or more offenses is five years and over five hundred dollars in fines along with the fact that you cannot obtain a court work permit in order to get transportation to and from WORK? Has anyone fought this? How do they expect people to pay these fines, or even survive if they cannot get anywhere? Some people live way out in the middle of nowhere. There IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AT ALL! NONE. What are these people supposed to do? End up in prison or die due to malnutrition, or starvation, lose everything they have and become a homeless hick? If anyone has specific advice on this RIDICULOUS OHIO LAW - please advise asap!
