That price is a sack of crap.

Get a load of this: Apparently the reason the estimate was so high is because they also factored in the cost of a new door to replace the one that got a little dinged up last year when some lady hit the side of my car. Taking that off would lower the price $1.5-2k right there. Also, they did their estimate with all new parts, nothing used, so it could go down even cheaper. Things are looking up!
