The driving in GTA sucks

I cant steer for shit, im constantly hitting buildings and swerving wildly. You cant turn any corners without using the hand break, and when you do you slid too much

Nah, man, you've got to learn how to use it properly. I keep using the left and right analogs to get my bearings. The left trigger i noticed are barely used by some people. It's there for a reason. Use it with the A button (if you're on 360), to slow yourself down a bit then swerve and you should be absoloutely fine.

It's worked very good for me, in fact won a race some minutes ago

Pratice son. Also the cars are VASTLY different. So far I find the Sentinel has the best mix of speed/steering.

nah at first it does, but I got the hang of it, drive like a pro now

Driving is fucking awesome in this game once you learn it. And if you use the handbrake, its like real life, you only raise it for a second to get the slide going and that's about it. So in GTA, you only tap it while you're turning to get your drift going.
