The drivers side door won't lock with the fob on my 2003 3 door ford focus, please help?

The key perfectly locks and unlocks the passenger side door and the boot, but not the drivers side door. The drivers side door can be locked with the key inserted into the key hole, but not electronically. When I press the key, the drivers side lock makes no sound or anything, please help
