I wish we would get more Rose references too with Eleven but I doubt that will happen.

I don't care for River and no it's not because I think she's replacing Rose. Her character just irks me.

I adored this moment so much in Stolen Earth. I love how all the companions knew the Doctor loved Rose. Plus I liked Martha, I like all the characters in s1-4. Except for maybe the Daleks. :lol:

I thought the DW fandom was really easy going but it is actually kinda crazy, lol. Stay in that bubble, best place to be ;)


I love when the Doctor references Rose. When she popped up in the latest episode after he said show me someone I like and the first thing he saw was her :sigh: I wish Eleven would reference her more though. Moffat is wayy too obsessed with River :pout:
 
I'm starting to see there are so many different opinions in the DW fandom. :lol: It's pretty crazy and I think I'm gonna stick in my Doctor/Rose bubble.

I watched S1 first, loved Nine/Rose and then when he left I was so sad, it took me a long time to continue to watch because I missed Chris but I'm glad I did because I loved Ten/Rose too and David was great. After Rose left and David I really didn't want to watch but I did and honestly I hated Amy and wished she would go away and Rose come back, lol. Which is ironic since now I love Amy/Rory and Matt...but it took months after initially watching S5 to start it again and not feel bitter about not being able to see the old gang anymore.

No, not really. I watched the show back in 2006 when it first premiered in the US. I didn't really understand it. So I did see Nine/Rose but I didn't ship them. Then I just forgot all about Doctor Who because the channel that aired it stopped. BBC America started showing all the old episodes and I saw the ones with Ten/Rose. I fell for them.

I wish Doctor/Rose/Amy/Rory were all travelling on the Tardis together now, lol. I would be in heaven with both my ships.
 
Please add me? :flowers: I'm watching season 1 right now. I've shipped these two mostly because of Ten/Rose but I've decided to watch the whole series.

I remeraber when season 1 came on the Sci-fi channel years back and I watched it but thought it was so weird. :lol: My young self didn't understand.



I've noticed this a lot lately. Especially with the short appearance by the Doctor's other companions in the latest episode. So many people freaked out over Rose and then the pressed comments started coming. :look:

As someone who has never been apart of the Doctor Who fandom. The show has gotten bigger and I am seeing more attention focused on it. Especially in America where it was promoted. Before BBC America bought it Syfy channel had the rights and never cared that much to promote it. It's probably a lot easier for BBC America to promote the show since it's already been shot. They want to cash in on british tv.
Though I think this pairing holRAB kind a special place with a lot of fans because they still love Rose and the Doctor.
 
Sort of. He went a bit Dark Willow/Lex Luthor. He meant well and then kind of went a bit...power hungry and got possessed by billions of souls of monsters and angels that were in purgatory, which meant he basically had the amoutn of power that the SPN God would have. :look:
