The "doc fix"

As of Tuesday the portion of the health care bill related to medicare reimbursements to doctors went into effect reducing those reimbursements by 21% but the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services was told to hold onto all claims until July 17th to give congress time to pass the fix.

The current proposed fix for this is set to actually increase current reimbursement by 2.2% through the end of November.
