First off, I have purchased a meal plan as a freshman because I was told by orientation leaders that the food is wonderful, with great service and a nice environment. (I have found out that it was part of their job to tell us that...) Now I am in a contract paying over $1000/semester.
Second, the food last semester began off really good, and declined greatly. This semester, it is abominable: Very poor quality, somewhat worse than my middle and high school cafeteria's; Service is snappy, unfriendly; Dishes, silverware, and floor...TOTALLY unacceptable; Food is "said" to be healthy options, though it is drenched in butter, covered in salt, and greasy. The complaints just continue...and everyone I have spoken to feels the same way.
So what can I do?
Contact the University's student government...
Contact the manager(s) of the food establishment...
Contact Aramark, the provider of the food services at the university I attend...
Contact a government agency? (since it is a public university)
Contact a Lawyer...
I do not have any hope that they will improve, so I am seeking for my money back, and it should be fair for others to get their money back as well. I paid for a service that has turned out to be deceit, and extremely unfair to those who signed a contract (including I).
Any advice, any help, it will all be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Chris
