i saw them with world/inferno frienRABhip society and made out of babies... strangest line up i've ever seen before... dep rocked it, though.

TDEP is all good. I just got a hold of Irony is a Dead Scene and man it's great! I wish Patton would cut a few more tracks with them.

Mike Patton is awesome in so many ways. The guy oozes creativity.

I LOVE The Dillinger Escape Plan! So many great songs to choose from, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants is probably my favourite song from them but so many other songs come so close.

Irony Is A Dead Scene is pretty different from their other material, mostly due to the presence of Mike Patton. I would say the most similar of their other albums is Ire Works (which is also my favorite)... lots of crazy stuff going on on that one,

I really like Ire Works, and Miss Machine. Haven't listened to their newest one yet, but will probably check into it soon enough.

Irony is a Dead Scene is good but way too short. I also feel that it was more a turning point for DEP, and anything after it is much better. Really glad for the Patton involvement/influence though. It sets them apart. It's what opened a window for them to set themselves apart, and produce some truly brilliant music. Albeit, I think the album itself is good not great.

Not to bust your balls or anything, but you say this a lot and really never elaborate quite enough for how much you're into him (judging by your avatar and username).

New song is insane, and the sleeve artwork for the single is fucking awesome.

I'm so excited for the new record, I hope they do some more all out jazz songs like Mouth of Ghosts.
