Hi guys, I have a university essay due next Wednesday (May 21) which asks to contrast the reasons between Napoleon's war on Italy in 1796-97 and his war in Russia in 1812. How were his motives different?
I've been trying to search online and read my primary notes (going to the library tomorrow), but the notes given are very obscure to the specific question. Can anyone give some simple explanations on the differences, so I have a good place to start?
