Hi I just had a lumpectumy on my breast yesterday and everything when well till this morning when I woke up to major wheezing and coughing. I'm assuming it's my asthma being agrivated by being put out with anasthetic(sp?) but I feel like crap!! I'm not sure if I should call my GP Lung specialist or onocologist......Should I just keep sucking back on my ventolin and up my flovent or take some prednasone for a few days ??? Could it just be the pain meRAB making me feel like this ??? Thoughts on it anyone please...:)

I ended up calling my Lung specialist and he put me on a mega dose of Pred and antibiotic. If I'm not feeling a little better by Thursday then I have to go in to his office. and if my ventolin doesn't seem to be working then I have to go to the emergency riglht away...yeah it's been one of those lovely weeks.
Thanks Tichou :)

You have been through a lot and I'm sure your body is stressed . Call the oncologist, the
lung specialist and whoever else you think is necessary. After what you have been through it's better safe than sorry.
Feel better,
Tom

Thanks Capttom48 I have been through a lot lately and stress definalty plays a part in my asthma :) My Plumologist is wonderfull and very on the ball , he immediatly put me on prednasone and antibiotics so I should be feeling better by next week hopefully ...just around the tiem that I find out if I have breast cancer or not.
