Anyone know these two books where do they fit in the series.

The Little Sisters of Eluria
The Gunslinger Born
Are they books, comics, er what?
 
The comic 'Gunslinger Born' adapts back story told in the fourth novel ,'Wizard and Glass' - and thus really begins Roland's saga. 'The Little Sisters of Eluria' occurs shortly before the events in the first novel "The Gunslinger".

The current 5 issue comic series, 'Long Road Home' picks up where 'Gunslinger Born' left off and fleshes out story only hinted at in 'Wizard and Glass' with mostly new material.
 
The Gunslinger Born' begins with Roland Deschain's manhood test against Cort and ends with the last events of the flashback in 'Wizard and Glass'.

'The Little Sisters of Eluria' seems to take place just before the first novel in the 'Tower' series, 'The Gunslinger'.
