Wait...there was some sort of thing I learned involving shouting fire in a movie theater...

Huh? Alarm? Oh, never mind.

;921960']That's the smart thing to do, Icarus. When I go with a large group, we just do the "grab a seat where you can" thing. We're going to see a movie, not socialize with one another. The only time that it's worth saving seats is if you're on a double date and another couple is coming.

I actually got the manager. She said they have no policy against saving seats and couldn't do anything.

I think they should at least have ushers on opening weekends for movies they know are going to be popular.

Lomsy, that's theor way of saying find a seat or STFU. If you see an empty seat and you have a ticket then you overrule the "I'm saving a seat for X" persons. If X isn,t there then fuck'em imo. What are they going to do...glare at you?

This happened to me when Cloverfield came out. Some kid was saving about 8 seats. Luckily I had a good sneeze on the way, and he got the brunt of it. I said "Sorry, I just got back from Africa". I sat right in one of his saved seats and none of his friends fucking bothered me. The seats next to mine were mysteriously empty as well.

Only problem with this is that the friends can't get in to see it, then...seeing as they don't have their tickets.

That's stupid, though. I don't go to theatres very often, but I hate people who go there to chat it up. FUCK YOU! I paid to see and hear a goddamn movie, and I get to see a movie and hear a different soundtrack? Fuck that! They should have "anti-noise police" in theatres to keep people fucking quiet!

Well I go out of my way not to go to the local theater here....stale popcorn, sticky floors that make Lyn's look food service worthy, and if it's rated above pg-13 there's some couple screwing within a three seat radius. And why is it still in business, because it's the only theater in town. :thumbsdn:

;922244']Ah, I figured some little stub retention/namething/etc whole new system could be emplaced.

I had to stop going to theaters back in my hometown. On Saturdays, the parents would ditch their kids off and leave them at the mall all night. The theaters were full of kids who didn't care about the movie, they just were bored... so they cut up and acted a damn fool.
