which one was it and what ***exactly*** happens? i want to know if it's appropriate for my 12 yr old girl

Then what's with the excessive exclamation points? I believe by now you're old enough to know better than to abuse punctuation. It doesn't exactly make you look like a competent adult.

Although I'm probably expecting too much of Y!A.

I did read The Clique, and it's really not bad. Sex is barely mentioned. If your kid knows what it is, it's fine.
