The season finale airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:
 
Yeah. I thought I heard that those two would show up (at least Quagmire), but it was disappointing that it was just a cameo appearance though. Wasn't too fond of seeing Herbert. Having him on one FOX show is bad enough.

BTW, I missed the first few minutes of the show but I read at Wikipedia that Loretta's death was caused by the 'bathtub' gag, was that mentioned at all in this episode?
 
While this definitely isn't my favorite show in the line-up, I have to say that this was a pretty good episode. I loved the Black Stewie line.
 
You've got to hand it to Mike Henry at the writers at "The Cleveland Show", they actually made a season finale for once. What I mean by that is, on the whole, every show on the Animation Domination block has made very little attempts at making decent finales throughout its entire history. FOX would just pick a random episode and air it as the finale. I believe that season finales should be special, not just the last episode you air before going on a three-and-a-half month hiatus.

The very fact that they made an intended finale makes me respect this show all the moreso. I have to hand it to the MacFarlane shows, they're on a good streak right now, even (gasp, dare I say it) Family Guy. The world's gone topsy-turvy. ;)

The actual episode was pretty good. Loved the FG references, and Tim at the strip club. A well-rounded story that advanced plot within the series itself and featured honest emotion. What more can you ask for?
 
Never mind. I saw info for that ep in 'Family Guy Wiki.' It was in 'Gone with the Wind.' I guess I'll have to wait for Fox to re-air that ep to see it.
 
Well Cleveland show, you prooved me wrong.
You showed me that you can be a good show.
The season finale was pretty good out of the other shows finales.
I lalso liked the scene between Quagmire and Peter that was LOL.
Give it a 5/5 and looking forward to season 2.
 
Eh, took me a while to finally watch this, but I thought it would probably be good to chime in, now that the first season is over.

It was an alright episode. I dunno why, but really did feel for Cleveland when he got the shaft again from Loretta. I thought seeing Loretta die in that bathtub gag would be the last laugh, but she had and it kindof turned Cleveland Jr. into an ass. I was half-expecting that he'd lose all the money at the end of the episode for one reason or another, but instead it was put towards that rather indulgent final act. But other than that, there was some nice parts like at the strip club, black Stewie, another random black basketball player reference, and of course some well done cameos from Family Guy.

But as for Cleveland Show Season 1? While rather rough at the start, all it managed to do was break even for me. It didn't do anything roughly spectacular, but did it competently. It still lacks the watershed moment where it ceases being competent and it starts being awesome. So hopefully Season 2 will be better in that regard.
