Broadcast Order: Season 2, Episode 8
Production Order: Season 2, Episode 9

Writer: Kirker Butler
Director: Ken Wong

A new episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

I don't think it's an actual hour-long episode. After "Murray Christmas", FOX is airing another new episode titled "Beer Walk." I guess they wanted to show 2 episodes tonight because next week, Family Guy will have an actual hour-long episode.

Yeah, they could have aired an episode last week. But FOX would probably defend itself by saying that next week's episode makes up for the two weeks since next week's hour-long episode is technically two episodes, production-wise.

Ah, I didn't realize that! Thanks for mentioning it.:)

I have to agree. First it happens on "Family Guy." Now it's happening here. Even if Herb were to kick the bucket, it still wouldn't change anything because all of his scenes are shown in flashbacks.

Ed Asner reprising his role as Carl from Up was great.

I enjoyed the fact that the Rocky Montage was omitted, due to familiarity. I will admit it is overused, so sparing us the montage made it funny. However, the Robocop and CBS references at the near end of the episode were funny.

The ending with Rallo and Murray was sweet. The overall episode was good.

Yeah. They just did that a few weeks back on "Family Guy," so they probably had that in mind. Plus it's good that Seth realizes when he overuses a gag.

Loved Ed Asner as Carl.

I'm not a regular Cleveland Show watcher, I think too many Animation Domination cartoons in one night hurt my head. The Rocky avoidance thing that Family Guy did, as well as the ET parody The Simpsons just did...too much stepping on each other's toes.

Some people are saying that Herbert is being overused on The Cleveland Show. I admit I haven't seene very episode, but this is only the second episode I've seen Herbert in. Was he really overused? Do some thing two appearances is "overexposure" for a character?

The only Herbert gags I can recall are the one in this episode, the "Lets Make A Deal" joke (forget which episode it was) and the joke from the other christmas special where Cleveland is at his his gay boss's christmas party and he mentions a time he went to another homosexual christmas party: flashback to Herbert.

If I'm missing any please let me know
