Okay, I've recently been told this riddle and had a different answer than my friend's, he got mad at me and said my answer wouldn't work. I'm very puzzled, I know the intended answer, but I despirately want to know if my answer would work too.
So there 2 EXACTLY identical guards, each one standing in front of a door, . One door leads to heaven, one leads to hell, and the second you open the door you are sucked in. You can only ask one question to one guard.
So couldn't I just ask "Does 2+2=4?" and then the guard of hell would have to say no ( or the guard of Heaven would say yes ) and then I'd just enter the according door, right?
