The "Church Age is Over" says HAROLD CAMPING/Family Radio....anyone hear this?

I listen to a station called Family Radio. It's president, who also teaches bible, Harold Camping, says the 'Church Age' is over and we should all leave the churchs.

I'm expecting funny replies from Atheists, but the question isn't funny.

If anyone heard Mr. Camping's teachings on this, where does he back up this doctrine that anyone churched now in any religion should leave?

He also believes the world will end in 2011....but that's another issue entirely.

Comments on Harold Camping anyone?
 
He predicted the rapture in 1994...and people still believe him.


I rarely speak against anyone, but this guy has no clue.
 
He's senile and a whack. Why Family Radio doesn't remove him is the important question. I'd be running for the hills if I worked there.

The 'Back to God Hour', of the Christian Reformed Church, no longer broadcasts on Family Radio because of the false teaching and the censuring of their programs.

Once that broadcast used the word "church" in a way Camping didn't approve of - and they were blasted away.
 
The Church age will eventually come to an end but it isn't over yet. We are still here.
 
It is a conspiracy so Harold can buy up all those cheap for sale churches.
 
I dont know who he is like.. but i'd have to disagree with him unforunatly..!
I personally havnt been church to quite a while but both my parents go.. the church they go too is huge.. with loads of members.. so many that they can rarely fit in the room.. they have to build a new one.. and that just in Northern Ireland.. we went to one in england and it was pretty huge too... so unless they r the only too there are.. i think that maybe he is wrong..! (And im pretty sure there are loads of churches)!!

Anthony, Harold Camping is a false teacher that no serious Christian takes seriously, Harold Camping seems to have his own personal method of interpreting the bible, About the only thing family radio is good for is the nice old hymns they play, Other then that their teaching is nonsense and un biblical. Just because some jack-@ss says so does not mean it,s true
the church age will always be here as long as we worship God
and God said he would find faith when he return,s.
 
i do believe that familys spend less time togeather these years which in tern means of course people just dont have the time anymore to spend 1-4 hours in curch. i wish i still went, i went to curch until i was 12 then had family issues had probs with god and moved was displaced and it was a crazy time. now i work third shift and my husband and i just cant fined the time to go. i wish we did go but i just dont know if i would ever connect with curch like i did when i was little and you dont realize the real science of the earth and learn how things really evolv and so on. wish it was like good old times but with me being just 20 i can already see the change
 
Ma'am, I mean no disrespect to you, your religion, or this question when I say Mr. Camping seems not to have a firm grip on reality.
