The cd player in my 2004 Mazda 6 spits CD's out constantly. What's the deal?

Whenever I try and play a CD in my Mazda, it will spit it out and it will flash "Check CD". I thought maybe it was my CD's but when I tried to put a brand new (literally....I had just bought it and taken the wrapper off) CD in there, it did the same thing. Spit it out and flashed "Check CD". I was just wondering if anyone had the same problem and what the solution was. My car is still under warranty with Mazda, I just thought I would try the easy route first. Thanks!
 
1 let the dealer fix/replace it
2 if out of warranty id put a vacuum cleaner to the slot..sometimes part of a cd label can fall off [happened to me]
3 use it as an excuse to go to Crutchfield.com and buy a new monster unit..[ive done that too]
 
i haven't had this problem in my car but from what i gather for the information what you have giving me i believe that your cd player is defective and that you should get it replace under the mazda warranty.
