The Car Alarm Blocks Car From Starting Up. Honda Accord 1991?

The car starts an all, but right at first when you go to start the car, it just goes.. sometimes i have the press the unlock button on the alarm and then start the car, sometimes it starts right up when i do it, and at times it doesnt, i just want to know why does the alarm blocks the car from starting right up there n then, and how can the problem be fixed, if anyone here has been in the same situation or came across it before. All is appreciated
 
If the alarm is set the car will not start. Some set automatically, some have to be set. That is part of the theft protection. Some even block the ignition if you cut the wires. If you are not using the alarm have it professionally removed.
