I was thinking of purchasing the trilogy at HMV, but luckily got to see that it only included the normal versions of 1 & 2. Part 3 only has one edition, as far as I know.

On hmv.com I saw this, and I've bought it, as it has both parts 1 and 2 in extended editions for
 
Just because it is extended doesn't mean it's better, just a ploy to get more cash usually. The Directors cut of Aliens was dreadful, thank God for the editor.:)

It's only just been released so you may have a long wait.
 
:eek: Wash your mouth out with soap!:p Aliens Special Edition makes the film better (imo anyway, but then i am an Aliens fanboy, and "more Aliens = More Awesome" to me).

Seriously though, there is more than likely going to be an extended version of Ultimatum at some point, but i wouldn't expect it for at least another year. I don't think that the extended version of Supremacy came out until this year, which is two years after it's original release.

The extended versions are only very slightly extended, and in my opinion they aren't worth the wait.
 
Yeah, I usually don't care to check what bits are extra and stuff, I just buy them because they're longer really. And this came at such a great deal. I think I'll wait for the Ultimatum to go down in price a bit before buying.
 
I got the bourne trilogy boxset from play.com called something like the steel edition, don't know which versions of the films they are (and it's now wrapped and under the tree) but it was
 
You are better off buying the original special edition versions, which had way more extras on. Problem is, they still cost quite a bit, compared to the extended versions
