Since it's almost the end of the decade and I know I did the same thing since 2006 but I want to hear from you members what you think of this decade about animation. We'll talk about the best and worst shows, episodes, episodes examples, writers, actors, news, and etcetera and/or tell me why. Neutral things in animation are accepted.

In the title, BOB means (Best Of Best) and WOW means (Worst Of Worst), if you're curious of what you think about what those acronyms mean in the title. I'll tell you what I think about the animation in this decade later on.

Hmmm... Good question. There were a lot of great toons this decade, but I think the top 3 would have to be Samurai Jack, Avatar, and either The Spectacular Spider-Man or JLU.

Absolute worst is a bit harder to call, but before anyone mentions any remotely popular series, try to remember that there were some very swiftly canned shows that were absolutely unwatchable. Spaceballs: TAS falls under this category.

My favorites this decade have been Chowder (for its fast pace, excellent animation designs, great voice acting, and constant fourth-wall breaking), Phineas and Ferb (for the way it builds up trope after trope after trope, then either subverts or deconstructs them, or lampshades them to no end), Invader Zim (very belatedly, for making me realize far too late that I like "dark" humor) and The Penguins of Madagascar (for my favorite fictional otter, and for a general throwback feel to the writing despite the CGI).

Films, I would have to give the nod to The Emperor's New Groove for its zany, offbeat, rapid-fire comedy approach, also replete with lampshade hanging and fourth-wall breaking. Why can't Disney do more of this?
